ReposiTrak to Expand Traceability Network with 25 New Produce Companies

ReposiTrak, the world’s largest network for food traceability and regulatory compliance, announced in a press release that it is preparing to add 25 new produce companies to its ReposiTrak Traceability Network® (RTN).

This initiative is a significant step towards ensuring that these companies can seamlessly comply with the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) 204 regulations, which will be enforced starting January 2026. The ReposiTrak platform, which is renowned for its inventory management and out-of-stock reduction capabilities, will facilitate the efficient exchange of the FDA-required Key Data Elements (KDEs) for each Critical Tracking Event (CTE) within the supply chains of these new members.

Among the new entrants are some of the industry’s most respected fruit growers, vegetable producers, and organic farms. These include a renowned berry producer with a century-long history, a tropical produce company with a 130-year legacy, and a family-owned pioneer in greenhouse-grown produce with 65 years of operation.

These suppliers are known for their commitment to producing consistently flavorful and high-quality fruits and vegetables, such as gourmet tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, and berries. Their participation in the RTN underscores their dedication to maintaining high standards for quality and traceability in the produce industry.

Randy Fields, Chairman and CEO of ReposiTrak

According to Randy Fields, Chairman and CEO of ReposiTrak, “By joining the ReposiTrak Traceability Network, these produce suppliers can fully comply with FSMA 204 without the need for additional hardware or software.” Fields emphasized that the ReposiTrak solution allows suppliers to easily share the FDA-required Key Data Elements with their retail or wholesale customers, ensuring that they meet regulatory requirements efficiently.

The RTN offers a straightforward solution that eliminates the need for additional hardware or software. The ReposiTrak team provides support in establishing the necessary connections under the new regulations. This network allows suppliers to connect with an unlimited number of retail and wholesale customers to share traceability data for a low, flat fee, making it a cost-effective solution for compliance and operational efficiency.

ReposiTrak, previously known as Park City Group, offers a comprehensive suite of solutions for retailers, suppliers, and wholesalers to reduce risk, maintain regulatory compliance, enhance operational controls, and increase sales while protecting their brands. The company’s integrated, cloud-based applications cover three primary areas: food traceability, compliance and risk management, and supply chain solutions. These applications are supported by a team of experts who provide unparalleled assistance to clients.
