Sun World Partners with Sprouts Farmers Market to Launch AUTUMNCRISP® Grapes

The collaboration brings the crisp, juicy AUTUMNCRISP® grapes to Sprouts stores across seven states, supported by an omnichannel marketing campaign to boost consumer engagement.

Sun World International is expanding its retail presence by introducing its AUTUMNCRISP® grapes to select Sprouts Farmers Market locations this fall. The grapes will be available in several states, including California, Arizona, Nevada, Utah, Washington, Colorado, and New Mexico.

This partnership underscores Sun World’s dedication to enhancing the availability of its branded grape varieties while providing Sprouts customers with high-quality, fresh produce during the peak of the fall season.

In collaboration with Sprouts, Sun World is launching an omnichannel marketing campaign to promote AUTUMNCRISP® grapes. This campaign aims to generate excitement among shoppers through a combination of in-store displays and influencer-driven content across social media platforms.

According to Sun World’s director of global marketing insights, Elena Hernandez, this partnership allows the company to work closely with valued retail partners like Sprouts to introduce more consumers to the crisp and juicy AUTUMNCRISP® grapes. Hernandez noted that this collaboration comes at the perfect time, as the cooler weather of fall complements the release of the fresh produce.

Sprouts, known for its focus on fresh, natural, and organic food, is one of the fastest-growing specialty grocers in the U.S. Meghan Diaz, senior director of local produce for Sprouts, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, highlighting the importance of offering customers peak-season, high-quality produce. “We are proud to partner with Sun World International to offer our Sprouts customers fresh, peak-season produce, including this unique grape variety,” Diaz stated, reflecting Sprouts’ commitment to delivering fresh and locally sourced items to the communities it serves.

Sun World initially launched its AUTUMNCRISP® grapes a little over a year ago, marketing the seedless green grapes as part of a global campaign. The brand was the first globally recognized table grape to be available year-round, and the company continues to build awareness and encourage customers to try the product. This latest campaign is designed to bolster the already-growing popularity of the AUTUMNCRISP® grapes.

The marketing efforts at Sprouts will feature engaging in-store displays that showcase the AUTUMNCRISP® branding, making it easier for shoppers to find and experience the grapes. Additional promotional strategies will include digital marketing and collaborations with influencers to further enhance customer engagement and drive foot traffic into Sprouts stores.
