Earthbound Farm Unveils New Organic Salad Kits and Sustainable Packaging at IFPA Global Produce Show

At the IFPA Global Produce and Floral Show in Atlanta, Earthbound Farm introduces innovative organic salad kits, eco-friendly packaging, and a new greenhouse-grown lineup, highlighting its commitment to health, sustainability, and fresh produce.

Earthbound Farm, recognized as the largest U.S. producer of organic salads, is preparing to introduce several new products at the upcoming International Fresh Produce Association (IFPA)’s Global Produce and Floral Show in Atlanta this October. The company, known for its commitment to sustainability and innovation, will showcase a fresh lineup of organic offerings, with a particular focus on consumer demands for healthier and eco-friendly options.+

Among the new products, Earthbound Farm is set to launch a series of salad kits made with 100% organic avocado oil. These kits cater to growing demand for healthier, convenient alternatives in salad dressings.

The brand will unveil five single-serve flavors, including Caesar, Chipotle Ranch, Apple Cider Crunch, Golden Balsamic, and Truffle Caesar. Additionally, two new full-size kits—Caesar and Balsamic Crunch—will be introduced, broadening their range of ready-to-eat organic salad options. These new kits highlight Earthbound Farm’s dedication to offering diverse, health-conscious products that suit various consumer preferences.

In response to calls for more innovative salad varieties, Earthbound Farm will also debut its Limited Harvest Organic Wild Red Arugula. With its distinct red veining and bold, spicy flavor, this unique offering aims to deliver a new experience for salad lovers. Exclusive to the Earthbound Farm brand, the Wild Red Arugula provides a fresh take on the familiar leafy green and adds a visually striking element to any dish.

Sustainability remains at the core of Earthbound Farm’s mission, and its latest packaging innovation reflects that. The company is rolling out new plant-based packaging made from recycled plant fibers, significantly reducing plastic use by 95%.

This eco-conscious packaging is designed to keep greens fresh without sacrificing convenience or quality. Currently available in two varieties—Organic Spring Mix and Organic Baby Spinach—the new trays align with consumer preferences for sustainable, environmentally friendly products. As stated in the report, this initiative underscores Earthbound Farm’s ongoing efforts to reduce its environmental footprint while maintaining high standards for product freshness and quality.

Further demonstrating its commitment to innovation, Earthbound Farm is introducing a new line of greenhouse-grown salads. By leveraging greenhouse farming techniques, the company ensures consistent flavor and crunch while cultivating crops closer to key markets. The new greenhouse blends will be sourced from facilities in Louisa, Virginia, and South Bend, Indiana, and are expected to add even more variety to Earthbound Farm’s portfolio of organic products.

“The IFPA Global Produce and Floral Show provides an ideal platform to feature our latest innovations,” commented Jenny Panziera, Director of Product, Organic Salad, and Earthbound Farm Brand at Taylor Farms. She emphasized the company’s focus on expanding its reach while staying true to its principles of quality and sustainability. Earthbound Farm’s latest product launches and strategies aim to make organic produce more accessible and appealing to a broader audience, she added.

Earthbound Farm will offer samples of its new products to attendees of the IFPA event. On October 18, visitors can try the Organic Wild Red Arugula, which is described as a bold, peppery addition to salads, sandwiches, pastas, and wraps. On October 19, the company will feature its Organic Golden Balsamic Avocado Oil Salad Kit, a blend of crisp romaine, frisée, and fresh vegetables paired with a golden balsamic avocado oil vinaigrette inspired by an in-house recipe.

Those interested in learning more about Earthbound Farm’s products or innovations are invited to visit booth #B2861 at the IFPA show. The company will also host a happy hour event on both October 18 and 19, featuring wine and beer from 3 to 5 p.m., offering a chance for attendees to mingle and explore Earthbound Farm’s new offerings in a relaxed setting.
