ALDI Recalls Fresh Produce in Five States Due to Listeria Concerns

Recall Includes Jalapenos, Green Peppers, and Green Beans from Select Stores in Kentucky, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia

ALDI Inc. has issued a recall for Freshire Farms jalapenos, green peppers, and green beans sold in specific stores across Kentucky, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia. This precautionary measure is being taken in collaboration with Wiers Farm, Inc. and R.S. Hanline Co Inc. due to a potential contamination with Listeria monocytogenes.

The recall affects the following products:

  • Jalapeno (8 oz bag)
  • Green pepper (16 oz, 3 pack bag)
  • Green beans (16 oz bag)

The safety and integrity of products are of paramount importance to ALDI, and the company is urging customers who purchased these items to either discard them immediately or return them to their local ALDI store for a full refund.

As stated in the report, customers seeking more information or assistance can contact R.S. Hanline Co Inc. at 1-888-484-4834 during business hours, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

ALDI deeply regrets any inconvenience and concern this recall may cause. The company remains committed to providing high-quality products and ensuring the well-being of its customers.
