Dole Earns Top Rankings in 2025 BrandSpark Most Trusted Awards

Fresh Fruit Leader Recognized for Salad Kits and Berries by Over 29,000 U.S. Shoppers

Dole has emerged as a standout in consumer confidence by earning top honors in two major food categories and a runner-up position in another during the 2025 BrandSpark Most Trusted Awards.

The company, recognized worldwide for its fruits and vegetables, secured the number one spot in both the fresh fruit and salad kit categories, in addition to ranking second in fresh berries.

These accolades reinforce Dole’s longstanding reputation for delivering high-quality produce and reflect the importance of trust in an era when consumers are increasingly mindful of the foods they serve their families.

Winners of the BrandSpark Most Trusted Awards were determined by more than 29,000 shoppers across the United States.

Their responses shone a spotlight on the brands they rely on most, highlighting factors such as consistent quality, ethical practices, and reliability.

Now in its 12th year, the BrandSpark program evaluates brand trustworthiness in multiple sectors, with the 2025 awards addressing Food & Beverage as well as Baby & Kids; Health, Beauty & Personal Care; Home Goods & Outdoor; Household & Pet; Retail & Restaurants; and Services.

“This year’s BrandSpark rankings confirm what Dole has been committed to all along: provide the highest-quality fruits and vegetables and the peace-of-mind that comes from 170-plus years of the highest product standards, sustainability, social responsibility and nutrition education.”

William Goldfield, Dole’s Director of Communications

This statement reflects the company’s devotion to continuously refining its cultivation, distribution, and retail processes to meet consumer demand.

The trust ratings underscore Dole’s efforts to maintain these standards across a wide range of fresh produce, including berries, bananas, pineapples, salad kits, and more.

Beyond recognition in the 2025 BrandSpark awards, Dole’s track record speaks to a deep-rooted commitment to quality.

For more than a century, the company has expanded its global operations, regularly introducing new fruit varieties, packaged salad options, and educational programs designed to help consumers make informed decisions about their nutrition.

In an industry where freshness, taste, and overall safety are paramount, Dole’s prominence in these rankings highlights a synergy between brand heritage and the growing demand for transparency.

“We dedicate these results to the growers, distributors, retailers and other partners who help deliver Dole to a hungry world,” added Goldfield.

The BrandSpark Most Trusted Awards, presented by Newsweek, emphasize the significance of consumer perception in shaping a brand’s public profile.

Each year, the program adds fresh categories, allowing participants to provide insights based on evolving market trends.

“We realize that for most shoppers, trust is at the core of the brands they choose, especially produce and other perishables,” Goldfield noted.

His words underscore how transparency, sustainability, and rigorous safety standards bolster consumer confidence.

Shoppers increasingly demand to know the origins of their produce and rely on trusted brands to uphold strict guidelines for sourcing, packaging, and distribution.
