NCAE’s annual Forum to feature cutting-edge sessions on agricultural labor, offering continuing education credits and exclusive networking opportunities for industry leaders.
The National Council of Agricultural Employers (NCAE) has officially opened early bird registration for the 2024 NCAE Ag Employer Labor Forum, set to take place from December 4-6, 2024, at the M Resort, just outside Las Vegas, Nevada. This event is widely recognized as a premier gathering for agricultural employers across the United States, offering a unique opportunity for industry leaders to converge and discuss critical labor issues.
NCAE has curated an agenda that caters to a broad spectrum of participants, including owners, operators, office managers, personnel managers, service providers, agricultural agents, and attorneys, among others. The 2024 Forum promises to deliver a diverse lineup of speakers and breakout sessions covering topics of significant relevance to the agricultural labor sector. Highlights include discussions on the economic outlook for U.S. farm labor in 2025, essential updates for Farm Labor Contractors, the latest trends in agricultural labor safety, and the role of artificial intelligence in agriculture. These sessions are designed not only to inform but also to provide valuable continuing education credits through the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).
In a recent statement, Michael Marsh, President and CEO of NCAE, emphasized the importance of this year’s Forum, stating, “This year’s Ag Employer Labor Forum is shaping up to be the biggest and best yet.” Marsh also highlighted the benefits of early bird registration, which offers discounted rates for both members and non-members, along with reduced room rates at the M Resort for attendees who book within the NCAE room block.
The registration fees for the Forum are as follows: $455 for NCAE members and $520 for non-members. Early registrants can take advantage of these rates until October 11, 2024. Additionally, NCAE has announced a range of sponsorship opportunities, inviting organizations to support agricultural employers and gain exposure within the industry. According to Marsh, last year’s trade show saw unprecedented interest, resulting in a fully booked exhibition space, a trend he expects to continue this year.
The Ag Employer Labor PAC, which plays a crucial role in advocating for agricultural labor issues in Congress, will host a special dinner event on December 3, 2024, the evening before the Forum officially begins. This exclusive, ticketed event will be held in the Wine Cellar at the M Resort and will feature fine wines from Mercer Ranches, live music, and a distinguished guest speaker. Forum attendees are encouraged to consider attending this dinner, which is designed to foster relationships and cultivate champions for agricultural labor issues.
NCAE, recognized as the national trade association dedicated to agricultural labor issues from the employer’s perspective, has once again demonstrated its commitment to providing valuable resources and networking opportunities for the agricultural community. To secure a place at the Forum and take advantage of early bird pricing and discounted room rates, interested parties are urged to visit NCAE’s Labor Forum registration page. The discounted room block at the M Resort will remain available until November 18, 2024, or until the block is fully booked.
