Fruit World is gearing up for the highly anticipated California grape season, offering a diverse range of new varieties and engaging packaging that promises to captivate retailers and consumers alike.
The company, known for its commitment to preserving family farms and delivering top-quality produce, is expanding its specialty organic grape program with unique heritage varieties, set to hit the market in mid-July.
This season, Fruit World will begin with the release of Champagne grapes, followed by their renowned Thomcords and an array of heritage varieties by the end of July.
These high-flavor grapes are ideal for summer charcuterie boards, picnics, and poolside snacks, making them a versatile addition to any summer occasion. “In addition to our organic Thomcords and other beloved varieties, we are excited to introduce an even more diverse and flavorful range of heritage grape varieties this season,” stated Bianca Kaprielian, CEO and Founder of Fruit World.
According to the press release from the company, the organic program will also feature Natural Flames in late July, followed by Natural Thompsons in early August. Other varieties such as Ribier, Grenache, and wine grape varietals suitable for fresh consumption will be available, along with the conventional Kyoho grapes, which are particularly popular in Asian markets.
As the season progresses, Fruit World will also offer stone fruit and summer citrus, ensuring a continuous supply of fresh produce.
In a move to enhance consumer engagement, Fruit World is continuing its “text us” card initiative, Thomcord Tales, for the sixth consecutive year. Each retail unit of Thomcord grapes includes a small card inviting customers to text Fruit World. The team personally responds to all messages, fostering a closer connection with consumers and underscoring their commitment to exceptional service.
Environmental responsibility remains a key focus for Fruit World. The company is reintroducing fully compostable and recyclable packaging options, transitioning from plastic poly bags to paper totes and recyclable clamshells. This initiative is part of their broader efforts to minimize environmental impact throughout their supply chain.
In July, Fruit World will also showcase its new grape varieties, along with their citrus and stone fruit programs, at the Organic Produce Summit in Monterey, California. Attendees can visit booth 621 to experience these offerings firsthand and learn more about the company’s innovative approaches to produce.
Fruit World, a company with deep roots and a fresh perspective on produce, continues to honor its growers and sustain family farming traditions. By introducing new varieties and maintaining a strong commitment to quality and environmental responsibility, Fruit World ensures that family farming will thrive for future generations.
