Keller’s extensive experience in the global produce and floral supply chain positions her to lead IFPA’s global initiatives and support its diverse membership.
The International Fresh Produce Association (IFPA) has recently announced the appointment of Jessica Keller as the Vice President of Global Industry Relations. This new role was specifically created to support IFPA’s mission of enhancing member value worldwide. In her capacity, Keller will oversee the association’s global representatives, country councils, and committees, and spearhead the implementation of the association’s global initiatives.
Keller’s extensive background in the produce and floral supply chain, coupled with her vast experience in building global business relationships, makes her an ideal fit for this position. Chief Membership Officer Miriam Wolk expressed confidence in Keller’s abilities, stating, “Jessica brings a deep knowledge of the global produce and floral supply chain along with years of experience building relationships with global companies. She has had an incredibly successful career defined by her leadership, vision, and strategic acumen. She will be a fantastic resource and advocate for our global membership, and I look forward to the impact she will have on IFPA, members and volunteers, and the industry as whole.”
Before joining IFPA, Keller served as Chief Operating Officer at Food Hall Company, where she played a pivotal role in transforming the company through strategic reorganization. Her career also includes a 16-year tenure at Whole Foods Market, where she most recently held the position of Regional Vice President of the Southwest Region. During her time at Whole Foods, Keller was instrumental in the successful launch of new stores and was responsible for driving over $1 billion in annual sales in her region. Additionally, she fostered a collaborative culture and mentored regional leadership teams.
Keller is enthusiastic about her new role at IFPA, stating, “I’m thrilled to be joining IFPA and feel deeply aligned with the association’s mission and purpose which is increasing the consumption of fresh produce and flowers globally. Our team of global representatives and I will be focused on continuing to have a positive impact and strong growth within our global produce and floral markets.”
Keller’s educational background includes a bachelor’s degree in business with a minor in Latin American Studies. She is fluent in English and Spanish and proficient in Portuguese, skills that have enabled her to navigate the complexities of global operations and sourcing effectively. These language abilities will also enhance her capacity to communicate IFPA’s value across the global supply chain.
